Spacious living area
Enter The Cider Mill through the timber framed porch which doubles up as a boot room with plenty of space for coats and wellies. There is just one small step into the porch. It is well suited for those with mobility issues. A small hall leads you to the double doors and into the spacious kitchen, dining/sitting room. This room is brimming with the light even on a dull day. It has four large windows and a pair of french doors onto the south facing garden, the light just pours in. The room has oak trusses and a cathedral ceiling which create a lovely feeling of space, warmth and openness.
The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils for a self catering cottage. Enjoy sitting around the lovely elm dining table from India whilst you overlook the wonderful garden. There is ample space for all six guests.
The sitting area surrounds the faux woodburner. With two cosy sofas to snuggle up whilst watching TV or playing board games or take a moment and read quietly. There is super fast fibre WiFi throughout so you can stay connected during your stay.

Parking and bike storage
A timber framed outbuilding houses the laundry room with washer, dryer and overflow fridge. This room can be locked and guests have stored bikes in here. There is a gravelled parking area outside this building for up to 5 cars.
Location
The Cider Mill is located on the edge of a family farm and small hamlet. It is surrounded by acres of cider orchards and reached down a tree-lined drive of young pear trees on a tranquil No Through Road. Enjoy the views across a paddock that wraps itself around The Cider Mill and beyond over rural farmland.
There are numerous walking trails straight from the door including the Wye Valley Walk. Guests often walk to the Red Lion at Bredwardine. Another favourite is the Garden Café at Brobury House and Gardens which is a beautiful walk; it takes about an hour and some of the route goers beside the Wye. Oakchurch Farm Shop is a fabulous place to stock up on goodies and it’s only 1.8 miles from The Cider Mill.
The River Wye is a 10 minute walk away. Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing, paddle-boarding and other activities. Plus fishing is available nearby as well as 5 golf courses: Burghill Valley, Kington, Leominster, Sapey and The Herefordshire. A visit to Brobury Beach near Bredwardine Bridge where the River Wye is accessible is always pleasurable.
